Who we are

Gelli Life for Living is a constituted community group based at Porth Plaza, Porth, Rhondda Cynon Taf, CF39 9PG. We support unpaid carers and the people they care for across RCT.

If you have a question about how we handle your information, contact Susan Smith:

What we collect on this website

We do not collect any personal information directly through this website. There are no forms, accounts, or trackers that require your data to use the site.

Our host (Cloudflare) keeps short-term access logs (your IP address and browser type) for around 30 days to help spot abuse and keep the site online. This is standard for every website and is not shared with anyone.

Cookies

Our own cookies: none. We don't set any.

Analytics: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It does not use cookies and does not identify you.

Facebook: our homepage offers the option to load our Facebook feed. The feed comes from Meta and uses cookies to work. We only load it if you click Load Facebook feed. If you don't click that button, Meta doesn't see your visit.

If you've already opted in and want to change your mind, clearing your browser's site data for gellilife4living.com will reset it.

What we collect offline

When you call or email us, we may keep a note of your name and contact details so we can help you and follow up. We only use this to support you. We don't share it with anyone except with your consent — for example, if we refer you to Citizens Advice, Shift Together, or another partner organisation.

Your rights under UK GDPR

You have the right to:

  • Ask what information we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct it if it's wrong
  • Ask us to delete it
  • Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk

To exercise any of these rights, contact Susan using the details above.

Security

If you think you've spotted a security issue with this website, please let us know. See our security.txt.
